Why Inner Island Productions?
Built on Legacy.
Inner Island Productions is a video production company that our Founder, Troy, created in honor of his late father Mikell Bedenbaugh. Inspired by his father's surfboard design company named Inner Island, and his passion for creativity, Troy wanted to continue that legacy by creating a company of his own.
Built for a Purpose.
Mikell invested his heart and soul into crafting stunning surfboards that still bring happiness to people to this day. At Inner Island Productions, we aspire to do the same by creating videos that stir emotions, provide enjoyment, and endure the test of time.
One Lost Many Found.
When Mikell passed away, Troy was seven years old. Twenty years later, Troy went on a journey to discover who his dad was through the surfboards he shaped and left behind to his close friends and family. Troy documented the whole journey in a film titled “One Lost Many Found”.
The short documentary has garnered 130k views on YouTube, received awards, been featured in the Epoch Times, and been officially selected by many film festivals across the world.
